ESPN showcases glorious moments in Indian sports on Aug 15

New Delhi, Aug 10 :Some of the most memorable moments in Indian sports will be showcased by ESPN-Star Sports this Independence Day. "Keeping with the spirit of Independence Day, ESPN-Star Sports will relive glorious moments in Indian sports for viewers across the country in a specially produced programming initiative," the network said in a release. The 1983 Cricket World Cup triumph, the 1971 Test series victory in England and 2002 Natwest Series final are some of the major cricket events that will be telecast while achievements of Narain Karthikeyan, Sania Mirza and Shiv Kapur will also be aired. India's bronze medal performance at the Sultan Azlan Shah hockey championship this year will also be shown.
