The different types of food benefit the body differently. But why do we like to eat fatty foods?
Studies show that a high-fat diet floods our brains with chemicals, including morphine.
One gram of fat has nine calories compared to four in one gram of protein.
Fat is known as ‘brain food’ and besides that it also insulates the nerves.
Fat makes our food taste much better including a ‘humble’ potato.
Fat can be stored with ease without the fear of it going rancid.
However, to say that we are addicted to fatty food would be only a general reason.
There could be various reasons that fatty food is liked and for that matter even our mental make up comes into play.
We might wean away from fatty food and increase our intake of fresh fruits and vegetable to control our diet.
However, fat can be consumed but in a balanced way and according to according to how much of calories you burn in a day.
