Kabul Express, all fear and no fluff

New Delhi: Yashraj Film's Kabul Express has fear instead of fluff to offer but is also laced with humour.

This latest Yashraj offering stars John Abraham and Arshad Warsi, who play two TV journalists plying through war-torn Afghanistan.

The film has been shot almost entirely in Afghanistan with some foreign actors also in the cast.

So, what if it involved a few threats from the Taliban? Debutante director Kabir Khan, who has been to Afghanistan some 10 times now, does not think much of them.

"At the end of the day a film shot in Afghanistan is a sign of normalcy returning to the country. I have a special place in my heart for Afghanistan. I would love to go back to that country," Khan says.

Well, that is what one can call the true spirit of filmmaking.

John Abraham who had signed the film much before Yashraj decided to produce it feels there is a lot going for the movie.

"I am looking forward to Kabul Express. It's going to be great for us. It's an intelligent film about two journalists who are going to interview a Talibani. It's humourous. People are going to love it for sure," John says.

After featuring in the Toronto and the London Film Festival, Kabul Express is now slated to release in India before the end of the year.
