Noida killings accused to record statement

Noida:Surinder Koli, one of the key accused in the Noida serial killings, will record his confessional statement in front of a magistrate.

Experts say once recorded, the confession cannot be retracted. Till now Surinder has been varying his statement from time to time.

The magistrate ordered that Surinder would have to spend a day in Tihar jail before his statement could be recorded.

In his earlier statement, Surinder said: "Every night my boss Moninder asked for a girl. I sometimes used to bring maid servants or young children that I found in front of the gate of D-5. I lured the children with chocolates. Moninder used to assault these children and then hand them over to me".

But later during the narco analysis tests in Ahmedabad, Surinder said that he killed the victims out of sexual frustration. He said he was a necrophiliac who had sexual contact with dead bodies.

Surinder, while describing how he disposed of the bodies, said he would cut the bodies into pieces, dump the bigger bodies in the back drain of the Noida house and the smaller bodies in the main drain.

When asked whose idea it was to murder the victims after they were sexually assaulted, Surinder is understood to have said that Moninder had said thikane laga do, which indicated that Moninder had some involvement in the actual murders.

There are however, reports of inconsistencies in Surinder's statement on Moninder's involvement in the murders.

The CBI does not want to take any further chances in a case that shocked the entire nation.

But the big question is will Surinder agree to confess after a day away from CBI custody.
